Hello everyone and welcome to the new year! I’m sure 2023 has many exciting events in store. I can’t wait to see what this year brings! As a finalist, I’m graduating this year and very much looking forward to the next chapters of my life. So now is the time to appreciate my university experience in my last months here.

As we enter the second week of term, I’d just like to thank our editors for their continued dedication and loyalty to the magazine and the hard work they continually show. I know each and every one of our writers has a genuine passion for their section and I’m so excited to see what this term has in store! Keep an eye out for some incredibly exciting and wonderfully written content.

Whatever you’re feeling at this point in the academic year, embrace the new term and give it your all. Durham students, you are here for a reason! Keep going!

Bear in mind that it is incredibly important to be kind to your mind as the workload gets tougher and the stress builds. It will all be worth it in the end!
