Two red sweatshirts, one pair of blue jeans. the recipes for a custard pie and blueberry cheesecake. A detailed guide on how to remove red wine stains from a white tablecloth. Two bottles of champagne and a charcuterie board made of cedar. A Netflix account with a shared password. A mug with a snowflakes on it with a chipped handle. A bottle of perfume that is almost empty – pine scented. A charger for an iPhone that only works at a certain angle. A copy of Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier with annotations. a copy of Dickinson’s poems with pages torn out. The rules to mahjong. A chain with no pendant. A deck of cards with race cars on them, the corners yellow and curling with age. A blue toothbrush with frayed bristles. A keychain in the shape of a horseshoe. A stack of polaroids with unintelligible marks made with a black felt tip pen. Two blue gel pens, one pen from a motel and a notepad with pen scratches on it.
