WATCH: helicopter videos released in search for Tom Billings

Police are using social media to help locate Tom

As part of the ongoing search for missing Durham graduate Tom Billings, North Shore Search and Rescue in British Columbia have released eleven videos showing a helicopter reconnaissance of the area he is believed to be in.

Members of the public are being urged to watch the videos to try to identify any “anomalies” that could help to locate the missing British tourist.

If you spot anything that could help locate Tom, you are asked to comment on the YouTube videos themselves, referencing the time-stamp, or to email your comments to nsr@northshorerescue.com.

22-year-old Tom Billings was last seen in Vancouver, Canada on 25th November 2013 whilst on a hiking holiday across North America. An experienced traveller, he has previously hiked in similarly wintery terrains such as Svalbard and Siberia.

He is a graduate of Trevelyan College at Durham University who was awarded a First Class Honours BSc degree in Psychology in summer 2013.
