‘Allie’ – Durham Film Festival 2012

This week, the Creative section is showcasing works from Durham Student Film in the build up to Durham’s first ever Film Festival taking place from Friday 3rd to Saturday 4th February.

Our first film Allie, pays homage to the grindhouse film genre – a style popular in the 1970s-80s, characterised by low budgets and subjects of exploitation and horror.

Indietrix, a film company affiliated with Durham Student Film, along with directer Will Webb explore what happens when you bring home something scary from the thrift store.

A Halloween horror. What happens when you bring home something scary from the thrift store? Directed by Will Webb. Starring Will Webb, Aran Bruce Caddick & Lottie Finklaire
